VINTAGE COORS LIGHT WOLF
A halloween necessity
In 1983, Coors Light wanted a holiday to call their own. Other beer companies were fighting over Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Labor Day. The Coors Light Company was a lot smaller in size than it is now. So their marketing team aimed to capitalize on the un-claimed holiday: Halloween. They started off with the Beerwolf, a werewolf-like creature.
Coors Light put Beerwolves all over the country as part of their Halloween program. Boonies received one in the 80s and it's been on our porch since!
